Thrust Reversers,-again!

Playing a Scottish beautiful Group called ::MARILLION I asked myself ,:why can`t airliners use the thrustreversers a little longer during emergency situations?? Myself I have seen a 732 just landed actually reversed 300ft when the Captain didn`t find enough space to turn in to this extremely small airfield'due to the fact that a F 28-1000 from the same
ugly liner was parked there(I loved the F 28) ?


WHY NOT USE THRUSTREVERSERS TO SAVE LIFE ???
