Flight Attendants: Clothing & Questions

Thu Apr 22, 2004 6:47 am

Hi,

I'm writing a research paper regarding the fashions of flight attendants. I haven't quite decided what era as of yet, but I was curious if anyone could help me in accquiring some airline-specific information about uniforms – perhaps how they are supposed to be worn, the expectations of a flight attendant's appearance, etc. Recent information would be excellent, and historical pieces would be just spectacular.

Additionally, does anyone know of websites/message boards that are frequented by former flight attendants?

Any & all information is greatly apprecated.

Derek
