Most Star Alliance Logojets At One Airport?

Fri Apr 23, 2004 6:09 pm

Hi...

Just wondering, what is the most number of Star Alliance logojets that serve an airport (and what airport of course), they dont all have to be on the ground at the same time of course...please only contribute if you have a serious reply...

Thanks,

I suppose it would be the airports that are served by the most Star carriers, so I think it would be a tie between LHR and FRA. Both are served by all but one of the Star carriers (LHR doesn't get JK and FRA doesn't get NZ).

I would have to add CPH to that one too. They have a lot of Star Alliance carriers there.. I'm not sure But I even think we have more than LHR does.

Don't forget us at LAX!! I've seen at least half-a-dozen of the *A planes here, both the old and new designs.

My mom occassionally worked the old UA *A 767. She said the pilots always hated it, especially int'l, b/c they thought everybody was laughing at them. I don't know, I kind of liked the old design better, with the different "sections" of fuselage. Certainly unique...

Actually, I think the biggest Star Hub served by the most carriers is NRT. but that was befoer alot of the new carriers came into Star.
A little less Hooah, and a little more Dooah.

What about the airport with the most Star logojets of the same airline?

I remember a couple of years ago seeing 4 'star' bmi a/c on adjacents stands 1, 16, 17 & 18... - an ER3, 2 x ER4, and a 733*, as well as the A330 G-WWBD on a remote stand, which was in storage for some time.

(* 737's no longer operated by bmi)
