Near-Miss In Naples

Two planes (one Alitalia MD-80, one Air One B737) nearly crash on the runway in Naples today. The Air One pilot rejected the (obviously cleared) takeoff at around 100 knots he he noticed the MD-80 on the other end of the runway, which itself was preparing for takeoff. Authorities started investigations ...

The curios thing is that both the two planes were starting their takeoff to Turin (AP scheduled at 8:55 a.m and AZ at 9:10a.m);
