I just watched the KARE newscast and they noted there wasn't a fire. They implied the prop hitting the runway simply sparked as it broke apart.

good thing it wasn't a NWA dc-9 with collapsed landing gear! otherwise you know exactly what would be playing in the media...  Big grin

Channel 9 got video of the landing but have not posted it on their website yet (kmsp.com). There was indeed a large plume of flame upon impact but not an ongoing fire. I wonder how far the outboard starboard prop rolled after it popped off?

what an incredible landing! glad it got down as safely as it could.
