IslandFlug 747 At EMA Every Weekend?

Sat May 01, 2004 3:27 am

Just read on EMA's website that Kosmar a Greek tour operator will be chartering a 747 from EMA to Kefalonia, Skiathos and Thessalonika every weekend during the summer months commencing today!

Be interesting seeing a 747 operating into Skiathos!

Anyone else able to shed any more light on this?

I didn't think Skiathos was big enough for a 747.
Why drive when you can fly?

Skiathos!  Wow! I thought it was barely big enough for a 757.

Think its a misprint. Didnt think Islandflug had 747's just 737's which would be better suited to these airports.

Islandsflug operate 734s and 733s. Misprint by some over-enthusiastic PR type.
