One Of The Best Picture Ever

This is one of the best picture i have ever seen...but I didnt know we could fly by LAX above 3500' , ain't a class B such LAX restricted for general aviation anymore?

No not at all. You just have to get cleared from an atc agency (approach, center) just follow their directions, you can also make requests. The best way is as to go to two airports direct that take you directly over the airport such as LAX, they will help you out if they have time and it is safe.

Since I fly over LAX quite often, I'll briefly explain. LAX has 3 corridors for traffic to pass over. One going over the west side, one for the middle, one for the east side. The west and east side require ATC clearance but the one going over the middle at 3500/4500 feet requires no ATC clearance.. you could fly back and forth until you run out of gas. Only thing required is to stay aligned with the SMO VOR at 132 degrees..

SFAR No. 51-1 to Part 91 explains this, I believe. Like I said in the wallpaper thread, that is one of the coolest pictures I've seen. Outstanding.
