All Nippon Airways Announces Profit

Sun May 02, 2004 1:16 am

ANA announced that they pulled off a profit of 25 billion yen for 2003 despite a sharp fall in international passengers, SARS, and the war in Iraq. ANA credits it to their cost-cutting. Also, they said they look to using smaller aircraft. I think this means domestic routes where 767s do most of the flying, the new 737NGs on order will probably play a big role in their domestic network.

Good, they'll have plenty of $$ for their 7E7 order... Big grin

I wonder how all these carriers are making money, yet the american legacy carriers can't come close. It's not like ANA is a LCC or anything.
