Hi,

Are Northwest's A319's equipped with Audio and Video entertainment in the first class section? I will be flying a 319 from BOS to MEM in a couple weeks and was wondering what to expect.

Unfortunately not.
I flew a NW A319 last week from DTW to MHT on first class. There was no audio/video system. Unlike United, I guess NW does not beleive in providing such facilities on board.

Sorry no video on board.

The first batch of 10 A320 delivered to NWA in 1989 did have video monitors and inflight movies however the reliability of the system that was provided then by Airbus was very low. The remainder of the initial 50 airbus aircraft came without video.

The reliability is much better now however the decision to refit the fleet of 85 airbus at NWA has not been made. I wish they would add the video.
