I wish JetBlue all the success in the world. If they ever fly out West, I'll try and sample them. But, apart from starting out with a new fleet, JetBlue has "reincarnated People Express" written all over it.
I hope they learn from Don Burrs mistakes.

I think the big difference with jetBlue is they're trying to bring a whole new 'attitude' to air travel.. some of it remains to be seen (that attitude has to be instilled in every employee), but some is already evident.. like the PTVs.. Being able to watch the Weather Channel from 35,000ft is going to be so cool.

I don't think jetBlue is going to have the same mistakes that People Express did. Shuttle America, however, has expanded sooo much eventhough it has only been in service for a little more than a year. Their route has already expanding from upstate-NewYork, Boston, and in the next month, North Carolina. They have over 25 aircraft in their fleet.
