Seat Pitch On Austrian's Transatlantic Birds?

Fri May 07, 2004 5:15 am

Does anyone know the seat pitch in Economy on Austrian's various transAtlantic birds? Now that US is in Star Alliance, I'd like to check them out on our next trip.

As per flightcomparison.co.uk, Austrian have 32" in Economy and 47" in Business on their A330/A340s.

I found links to Austrian's own website - although I was only able to find it on the German part of the website...

According to
http://www.aua.com/at/deu/Austrian/Fleet/airbus+330/
the pitch on the A330 is 81cm (31.9in) in Economy, 150cm (59in) in Business...

In Economy, the pitch is the same on the A340, but Business is at 145cm (57in).

If you follow the link above, you'll find details for all planes in the fleet (in German)... just look up the line where it says "Sitzabstand", you'll find the values there.
