NO Concorde's have been cannibalised for auction.
All the parts auctioned off were surplus to requirements after all the parts to restore G-BOAA and G-BBDG had been taken out of the spares pool.
What was auctioned off was what remained of the spares no longer needed.
Don't know when those last 3 times were, but it's been there for a good few months now and will stay there until T5
is finished and it's new display site has been prepared, so for another couple of years at least.
That spot was chosen so as to place the a/c in the most visible place for people to see her - as it is clearly visible from the visitors centre.
