OS31/32 VIE-KTM-VIE

Sat May 08, 2004 8:16 pm

I just checked some flights from NUE to KTM and found a very good connection with OS via VIE.

But: OS31 arrives in KTM at 2200 (343) and OS32 leaves at 0100 (342).

since its a very long turn around and OS32 seems to use another equipment, OS31 seems to continue somewhere else. Does anybody know, where it goes and where OS32 comes from?

as far as i know i agree with lxlgu, the flight doesnt continue...
BTW, 3 hours is not a very long groundtime... i know from LX that they have groundtimes up to 8 hours (HKG or GRU)
and SA arrives at ZRH early in the morning and leaves at 20.25 in the evening...  Smile/happy/getting dizzy

It's surely to do with connection possibilities, especially because there are so few flights between KTM and Europe. If it left KTM shortly after arriving, it would probably arrive back at VIE too early to be of great use to passengers connecting onwards.

Long turnaround times are not unusual and they can occur because of several reasons (some of them have been mentioned above).
