Candidate For Darwin Award?

Sun May 09, 2004 4:00 am

Just heard that a helicopter pilot in Dehradun (India) decapitated himself while checking his chopper for smoke. Don't have any further details yet. But I fail to understand how a pilot could have gotten so careless.

A candidate for Darwin perhaps???

If he stuck his head into the rotors, then yes, he qualifies because he removed himself from the gene pool by gross stupidity.

You should be saying a prayer, not making a joke.

You don't have to be stupid to walk into a rotating propeller of any sort.

Agreed...
If landing is about "kissing" the ground, you just about raped it.

I agree with Blackbird1331

Wow, I hope you don't mean that all we should do is pray for everyone who dies. That's a lot of praying. None of us would get much done.

You win. Go stick your head in a propeller. I'll laugh, promise.
