EWR-IAD

Sun May 09, 2004 5:26 am

Starting in Sept. we will be flying EWR-IAD 11x daily. Which is an additional 4 flights compared to our summer schedule. Seems kind of odd during the slow travel season.

Ramping up to compete with Independence Air, should be interesting.

Is the service improvement a result of competition from Independence Air?

has Indy Air even announced routes yet? All flights will be used with the ERJ-145.

ExpreesJet is moving mx people into IAD so it may have to due with that.

I'd wait until the schedule is finalized before I believe it. Flts disappear very quickly at IAD.

IAD did have a mix of MD-80's and 737's flying IAD-EWR twice a day in early 2001. They were a continuation of the IAH-IAD service. We all know what happened there.
