I am currently in the process of constructing my mainland European tour, for execution in September, with an emphasis on full days at the main airports visited.
At the moment, I am scheduled to start at CDG
about 6am and leave for LTN
at 2200 or so, giving me the entire day at CDG
. I would then fly from LTN
at 0600 the next morning. While this would indeed give me a full day at CDG
, I have seen a good deal (53 pounds) with Varig and its 772 from CDG
. The only problem is – and there usually is a problem – that it leaves CDG
at 1600, thereby reducing my time at the airport. (It would also mean I fly 6 times and not 7, but I’m not too bothered about that.)
I’m confused about which to go for, hence my thread. It's a case of a different airline and a good aircraft, or a 6 additional hours at CDG
. In terms of price, it would be slightly cheaper to go for the direct CDG
Which would you choose and why?
