I thought Dhaka was supposed to be their second destination. Oh well, as long as Jet starts flights to DAC sometime this year, I would be more than pleased. Thankfully, once Jet and Sahara start operations to Bangladesh, there would be a greater choice of carriers to fly to India other than IC or BG (both of which are overall below average in my opinion).

They are not permitted to fly to the Middle East period as that market the Indian Govt has repeatedly said will be the sole turf for IC and AI as it is very lucurative hence the protection provided by the ppl in DEL for IC-AI.

The next REGION that they maybe and I say maybe S2 and 9W are allowed to fly is the Far East.

A 4 digit code for a 737 flight? Is that correct?

I hope that after DEL, KTM will be connected to CCU,BOM and VNS as well.

I believe the plan is that all 9W international flights will be 4 digit flight numbers in the format 9W 4xxx.

Is S2 following soon, too to KTM? Any idea when DAC (and MLE) will start with any of them?
