Having done it, I can tell you that Blue Zone CAN
be good - but only up to a point - or bad, depending on where you sit. I paid for and was given Seat 1C on a red-eye from DRW
late last year. Plenty of legroom, but the seats are just as narrow, and the recline is just as non-existant. Then, being just at the fwd crew station, I had to put up with the crew's moronic chatter for the whole night. I don't think thoses ditzes ever paused for a breath!
The only Blue Zone seats that would be somewhat worth it would be the overwing exit row aisle seats.
MerC ... Y seat pitch on both DJ
varies between 32in & 31 in. On some a/c if you get one of the convertable Biz/Econ. seats, the pitch can be up to 33 or 34 ins.
