I've been waiting a while for this topic.
I worked for a year at the FBO doing fuel and ramp services for GA
/military/charters. I can honestly say that this airport has a little bit of everything. It is a great airport for training due to the multiple approaches and its not too crowded either. I now work for American Eagle there. During storms and bad weather definately go to the terminal and check it out. Continental/CoEx love to divert there and it is not unlikely to see many RJ
's parked on the ramp. I've seen 4 RJ
's on the ramp, plus 3 more and 2 737's in line on an inactive runway all due to weather. Gets fun real quick. 3 weeks ago we had a storm with 5 RJ
's and a 737 all on the ramp. Funny thing was, the 737 airstairs were in maintainence so the ARFF truck had to drive up to the door to let the pilots hop down.
