there have only been seven fatal crashes involving the EMB 120. Also, the EMB 120s accident rate is .71 per seven million flights, and ranks 8th out of 19 in safety. . For statistics, the SAAB 340 was ranked safest based on number of fatal incidents per flights performed and the MD
-80 ranked second. The Concorde ranked last and the MD
-11 ranked second to last. FYI.
