SAT service isn't necessary but CRP
service would be nice, especially considering how bad I-35 is between the two with all the construction. It'd be wonderful to be able to hop a flight to AUS
, take care of business, and fly back in the same day whereas it's a bit much to drive there, have meetings and drive back in the same day. As for why it's sad... IMO it's sad anytime an airline can't make a route work and has to drop it. It's just business but it DOES have an adverse effect on people that used the service.
