Wieeerd VS 744 @ LGW On Saturday

Wed May 19, 2004 7:29 am

At around 5ish in the afternoon, the sun was shining and I was riding around my village on my bike with a friend. I heard a louder aircraft on approach and looked up to see a Virgin 747-400!!!! WTF!!!! At this time of day. Looking at the LGW and LHR aircraft movements site, it looks as if this aircraft was G-VXLG:

'Fraid not. PHC is operated by a 343. G-VXLG is covering for LGW based aircraft going to AMS for C checks apparently:

Uh huh cheers, so I saw her coming in from LHR then, thought that might be it. Yes the PHC route is the only VS340 service out of LGW, and only one pic in the database. Common guys get shooting it!!!!!!!!!!

She did VS28/33 on Wednesday Antigua and Orlando,

Cheers
