Thai-jet From Germany

Thu May 20, 2004 6:39 pm

Anyone has ever flown Thai Jet from Germany? Last week I saw a 757 at AB) (FRA / FRF / EDDF), Germany">FRA?
How is their service, and where do they make a stop?
Maybe this Airline is trying to compete against TG and LH

Hi, let me see...

Thaijet Airways is flying at present 2 ex ATLAS JET Turkey B757-200 from different points in asia and europe to BKK. The Frankfurt-flight is at present Frankfurt-SHJ-Phuket-BKK; but this will be changed, as the airline is getting B767 more suitable for the long-range...

Prices are very low, starting as little as 99€ one-way PLUS TAX- at present the best deal is 299€ plus TAX (return).

There is also the possibilty to collect points on their own mileage account.

The airline is promoted and distributed in germany through SunlineDirect http://www.sunline.de/! you will find also on their page (in german only-sorry!) a feed-back forum on the service etc....

Their home-page is: http://www.thaijetairways.com/ but it is not working yet!

Hope that helps

BTW: It is a THAI-Company, nothing to do with germany, except their Senior-Management is from germany... (ex LTU, ATLAS JET-Turkey)

If you are interested, you can check their daily flightplans (both Atlasjet and Thaijet) under this URL:

http://occ.atlasjet.net/

Aircraft OGB is erroneously listed twice. Correctly, Thaijet's OGB is actually HS-OGC.
At the bottom of the page is a date field, where you can check the flightplans of past dates.
Some Thaijet destinations are actually quite unusual.

Best regards,
Heinz
