Air Mauritius 762's

Fri May 21, 2004 2:29 am

Anyone familiar with Air Mauritius? One of my favorite airlines that has a great fleet to serve small island nation, (5 340's, 2 319's, 2 762ER, 3 ATR). Considering the Airbus are fairly new-was wondering if they plan on replacing the 767-200ER's. I recall reading that they like the aircraft, but seem they may be due for replacement as both are 16yrs old. One would think 330's as logical replacement, anyone aware of their fleet plans?

I don't think MK will replace the B762s anytime soon. It's a workhorse that serves the less dense, yet important routes to places in Europe and Asia, while the A343 will handle the more dense routes like CDG.

The A332 or A333 could be too costly to replace the B762, perhaps?
