An-124 In OPO Emergency Land

Sat May 22, 2004 7:19 pm

This beauty has an emergency land in OPO 2 days ago.
She was an fire alarm. Fortunately was only a false alarm.
Now, my question is why MAD and SVQ don't accept him.
I heard that they don't accept him because both are in the midle of a city and OPO is out of the city of Oporto and the distance between the 3 airports was the same.
Tell me, it was a good or a bad option?

Was it an engine fire alarm or not? Did they stop any engine at flight?
