Anywho, back to the topic at hand, truely sorry the people on board died. They seemed to be so close to landing safely.
Anybody find it interesting that every time a plane crashes, no matter what happens, they always mention that they didn't file a flight plan, then quickly add the required quote from the FAA guy saying "that's not uncommon."
I know that we are all familiar with aviation and this is not news to us, but how did it become expected by the general public that every aircraft file a flight plan? It just find it curious.
