Possible VS 777 Slogans

Mon May 31, 2004 12:37 pm

IF (IF!) VS decides to order the 777, what could they put on the fuselage on their 777's so that they could keep the '4 engines 4 longhaul' slogan that is on the A340? I think it would be a shame for them to have to dump the 4 engines slogan because its funny and unique, and they could still write something good about the 777's twin setup!! I thought you all might have some good Ideas for a slogan:

here are mine:

"2 MONSTERS for Take-off"

"Mine has more thrust!"

Yeah.... kind of cheesy maybe... but I thought this would make for a good thread... list your ideas!

Good one by Fly15. I don't think any of their slogans are that funny, especially "We're better by four." Oh yeah? So the other planes have NO engines? I don't get that one.

I'll come up with a better one later... but for right now....

"4's old.... 2's new(technology)"

or

"2 huge balls for extra long hauls"

or

"why settle for 4, when with 2 you get more ??!!"

enjoy  Smile

and lastly:

Why would they be slagging off 4 engines when their whole fleet would (until then - if they do but them) be 4-engined aircraft. That's just like saying 1 of their planes are good, the others are rubbish, which isn't good advertising. I doubt that VS would buy the 777 but if they did, i'm sure that they wouldn't be putting any slogans on them regarding the aircraft type, maybe something completely different like "Fly a Younger Fleet" for example. Otherwise it would just be hypocritical.

Just keep 4 engines 4... and just paint 2 more engines on the fuselage or under the wing or so, that would be funny...

It would even be more funny to paint like if the 2 engines fell of, with some wires hanging out and so, but I guess, that would not be ideal advertisement for a serious airline...
