Braniff's Concorde Flights

Sat Feb 12, 2000 11:55 am

Did Braniff ever make money on any of their flights to/from DFW with the Concorde, or did they lose money during the entire year and five month operation?

Thanks,

I honestly doubt that the operations were profitable, as the airline was not taking advantage of the full capabilities of the Concorde, and instead used it as a normal, sub-sonic airliner. Which combined with its operating costs probably prevented the flights from being a success.
