What potential routes are there from London to the Middle East, Africa and the CIS? I don't know how viable these would be, but here's a list of possibilities:
Dushanbe (used to be served four- or five-times weekly from LHR
using Tristars, some of which routed via BHX
. There must be people in the UK from Tajikistan. Perhaps BMed could route, say, Heathrow-Baku-Dushanbe?)
I would have added Banghazi to the list, but LN
now operates once-weekly from there to LHR
I see that Samarkand is now being served once-weekly, non-stop by Uzbekistan, routing LHR-Samarkand-TAS, using the 763.
