Loads On LH 445 (ATL-FRA) This Sunday?

Mon Jun 07, 2004 11:12 pm

I'm sorry to bother everyone with a post that may not be able to be answered, but I was wondering if anyone knew what the loads on Lufthansa flight 445 this Sunday, June 13, are. The flight is from ATL to AB) (FRA / FRF / EDDF), Germany">FRA. Also, does anyone know at this point which aircraft has been assigned to fly it? Thank you very much!

Wow! Is that flight always that full? How many of those seats are preassigned do you think? I'm traveling with a group and apparently we are all together, so I fear we might be lumped in the middle seats in the back. I'm hoping at check in to be able to ask for a window. We have to be at the check-in desk at noon for the 4:00p.m. flight, so if the seats are not yet assigned for everyone on that flight, I think I'll be able to get a window seat. What do you think? Also, what time does the Lufthansa check-in desk in ATL open?

If you have a normal "full fare" ticket I see no problem to get seats together, window etc... depending ofcourse how early you check in - 4 hours before should be ok - but you have to remember that transit passengers might (and most probably do) check in from their origin! I don't think you have problems though! Unfortunately I can not see if many seats are already pre-assigned!

The ticket is class "V". What does that mean fare wise?

Looks like the flight is clearing in C. Y still full but 6 seats available in C. Safe bet that it will go out completely full though:

Any thoughts on me being able to change seats with a class "v" economy fare?

I'm sorry to have so many posts in this thread. I can't seem to get my thoughts together for one posting.  Smile

Anyhow, I forgot to ask if it is possible to get a regular LH A343 to/from ATL, or does LH send D-AIMG on the ATL-F R A-ATL run everyday? Thanks for your help and sorry to bother you all.  Smile

as long as seats are available, you can usually change seats no matter which class you're booked in.

currently it looks like D-AIMG but that can always change.

regards,

ben

PS: i sent you an email regarding activities in NUE - didn't you receive that?

I certainly did get it Daumueller! I appologize for not yet responding, but I plan to. I've been having a crazy few days, so am just getting to use the computer from time to time for a few minutes and have not been getting a chance to access my email. Thank you for sending it though and I'll try to respond today!

Today it's G-AIGI - this a/c has first class (configuration: F8C54M173)!
But normally there is D-AIMG scheduled for this route (configuration C42M234).

D-AIMG is old Sabena plane and the interior is not in the best shape!
