I flew FLL
back when it was around and my 727 went out full in both directions and so did the 757 parked next to our aircraft on the way home. If they were able to fill up 727's on that route a few 340's prob would be quite profitable. The only thing is back in the day Southwest was not serving Fort Lauderdale. So at this point in time I don't think it would make sense at all.
