Chile Inter was a charter airline that operated L1011 (the only Chilean that has).
It flew about 2 summers in the 90s (dic -mar) mostly to the Caribbean, taking the place that UC
left after the merge with LA
, although UC
was not a charter but a regular airline.
After that, Hamburg from Germany arrived here under the title "Hamburg Chile", using a 737 700, operating under the same charter scheme of Chile Inter.
After that, and currently, LA
covers the Caribbean (PUQ, HAV
) twice or three times a week, and CM
completes the market for Chile-Caribbean routes.
For the popular charters to Brazil, LA
and Sky Chile do the honors...
Hope this information is enough.
