It could be great to have only 1 to 10 pax but you have no roster, must have a bipper cause you can be called at any time. If you luv to work all alone great but if not it could be boring on longhaul flights...

We're working with a contract flight attendant right now. If you don't mind close quarters with relatively people who have exacting demands, it's a pretty good life.

Most operators on "widebody" corporate aircraft(F50, F900, CL600 series, Gulfstreams and BBJ's) use a full time FA. We use contract on trips with the family. The owner takes care of himself when flying alone.

The pay rates for the Gulfstream are in the $300-500/day plus expenses range.TC

A few summers ago I had a great FA on a challenger flight from SBA-TEB. She was an former Continental FA based in Guam, and looked -- and acted -- just like Carol Channing!

Fractionals give you the best of both worlds you get the excellent pay and corportate experience however you have more stability than you would working contract corporate. Flexjet, Netjets, Flight Options are some of the better fractional companies.
Enough about flying lets talk about me!

I work for Flight Options in Cleveland, OH. Of our over 200 planes, we have flight attendants on our large cabin aircraft only. That would be Challengers, Gulfstreams, and Legacies. They all seem to be pretty content with their jobs!

Boeing actually hires some for the BBJ program. A friend of mine saw the application online, applied, however didn't get the position. But, from what she said they were to be utilized for sales flights.

The beatings will continue until morale improves

A ex-flying colleague of mine landed a private FA job with the wealthy
Tanenbaum family of Toronto about 4 years ago. She absolutely loves it (although she was nervous as hell when she first started), and claims the family is very warm and down to earth. I believe the Tanenbaum's own a Gulfstream jet (I could be wrong re type). Anyway, while her hours and days away from YYZ are rather unpredictable, the pay and benefits are excellent, and she stays in the same 5 star hotels the world over that the family are booked at, complete with all expenses paid. She claims she is now too spoiled to ever return to sked carrier flying, which is perfectly understandable. As with any of us who are lucky enough to have their dream job, she procured the position through someone she knew.
