Will WN Ever Operate 738s & 739s?

Thu Jun 10, 2004 11:55 pm

Are there any WN routes where the 738 & 739 would make sense?

I think the 737-800 and -900 have a better chance of becoming part of the fleet than does the embraer jet.

If they could get away with using the same number of flight attendants that they have on the 700s they would do it in a second. But that will never happen.

Thank you Tom, just beat me to it. WN has zero plans to opperate the 738 or 739 in the near future.

Hey, Tom. That thread was kinda amusing. It sure shows which of the users belong to the sarcastic/ironic generation, and which ones belong to the digital generation.

Now...when are the new WN 739's due? Big grin Sorry, I just couldn't resist...

Cheers!

I don't think need anything more new fleet of B737-800/900 either. They decide to keep them of -700.

Thanx to Tom for the link, the search function was freezing when I was trying to research the topic, my apologies for those who are bored with it. However, if the comments attributed to Mr. Kelleher in the earlier thread are accurate it's the first time his remarks don't make sense to me.
