Alaska Considering New Seats

YAY! Too bad those new seats won't be in in-time for my first AS flights starting in 2 weeks. I hope you guys come through and we have some great flights ORD-SEA-BOI-SEA-ORD.

When did Alaska get 737-800's?
Apparently the seat get installed on the second aircraft delivered.

Alaska's first 737-800 will be delivered in Feb 2005.  Wow!

Those 738's that will be getting are going to look sharp. I loved those pics on the alaskasworld.com website. IMHO I wish that they would make a quick decision for once, and retrofit the whole fleet quickly.

This is good news. I hope they are redesigning their first class seats as well as economy. Although leather, the first class seats are horribly uncomfortable and a little shabby on some of the older airplanes. The cushion has just given up, and makes your back hurt. Good news from a great airline.
If you have never designed an airplane part before, let the real designers do the work!

Yes, if you go to http://www.alaskasworld.com you will see 2 people sitting on the prototype F/C seats.
