During a trip to ADD last month which involved Air Canada and Ethiopian Airlines, I opted to accumulate miles on each airline. While there is no concern on the part of the latter, flights on Air Canada were:
- April 24: YVR - LHR
- May 27: CDG - YUL then YUL-YYZ-YVR
While miles on the CDG-YUL flight were credited, I still have not seen my miles for the YUL-YYZ-YVR flight. Now here are my questions:
- The gate agent who issued my boarding pass from YUL to YVR misspelled my name on the boarding pass, and even though I raised the issue at YYZ, I was told that my miles would still be credited to my account. Could this be the reason why my miles were not credited? If so, how should I approach the whole issue? I still have my ticket receipt and mispelt boarding pass.
- Originally, I was supposed to be on a YUL - YVR nonstop, but missed my connection upon arrival from CDG due to a delay in departing Paris, so had to be rebooked via YYZ. Anyways, when they finally credit my miles, will I be credited for YUL-YYZ-YVR or the original YUL-YVR?
