What Airline Is This?

Tue Jun 15, 2004 3:40 pm

In the background of this photo you can see a tail of a plane with a red and orange bird (at least it looks like a bird to me) type logo on it. What airline is that? I try to look in the database for a airline with the same tail logo, but couldn't find any.

Outch I got screwed...

It is Surinam Airways, but the blue fuselage irritated me and reminded me of some famous Dutch carrier...

Lol, good catch on the pic, I checked on Surinam and thought "where the * is the blue????" lol

Probably just too late to search for airlines....

It looks like a Surinam Airlines B747, as KC said.

I did a search of Surinam Airways and that's what it is.  Smile/happy/getting dizzy

Is that a new livery? I don't think I've seen it before.

It's a Surinam Airways B743, they purchased it from KLM, this is why this bird is in Amsterdam. Greetings

Addition: Yes, they have a new c/s, and this B743 is the first bird in this livery!

I believe every word you guys are saying - but why did they move the fin halfway along the fuselage?  Nuts

Check the surinam airways name for more pictures, and you will see that there is also a MD-82 in the fleet, same color etc. The airline is not so much known around the world, but hell.... If you don't know it you research it!!! that is the bottom line. Google it and You will find!!
