I-Air Gates At EWR?

Thu Jun 17, 2004 4:40 am

What gate is I-Air using at EWR? On their website it says that they are using B36 however there is no B36 that I know of at EWR. There is A36 which is in Concourse 3 of Terminal A. Could they be using A36 and just mis-printed it on their site?

Who are they sharing the gate with? I don't believe that there is any free gate space at EWR. Also, is there much counter space for them at A?

According to the flight tracker it is B36

Actually there is a big difference between Terminal 1 and Terminal A... Most of us who have actually flown to EWR know the terminals as A B and C .

or when you drive to EWR ... Terminal A has a Red wierd looking triangle, B has Blue and C has Green..

Gate B36 they sure are on the ball. This is the beginning of the end of them. Like some one said, if you know EWR there passengers would go to Terminal B that's a good way to start. a$$holes

Well I'm sure people will be thrilled when they get to terminal B to pick up passengers only to find out that their flights came in over in Terminal A. Well good luck to I-Air anyway.

There is no B36 at EWR, the gates aren't numbered like that as they are at many other airports. Rather, they go sequentially, so A-1 has gates 10-19, A-2 20-29, and A-3 30-39, B-1 40-49, B-2 50-59, B-3 60-69, C-1 70-99, C-2 100-119, and C-3 120-139.

Some airlines use the letter of the terminal in front of the gates at EWR, but officially there are no terminal designations besides concourse identifiers (B-1, C-2, etc). This eliminates any duplicate gate numbers, so it's less confusing, but then you've got to know which satellite each series of numbers are in as well.
