AF1 And Marine 1 In Seattle

Fri Jun 18, 2004 12:50 pm

President Bush has arrived in Seattle. AF1 landed this evening and the president is currently on Marine 1 flying from Boeing Feild to Fort. Lewis. I also saw a C-141 at BFI. Must have been used to transport Marine 1 to BFI. There was actually two helicopeters used for the presidents trip from Boeing Feild to Fort Lewis.

Hopefully some of you can get pictures of Marine 1 in Seattle. Not many times the president flies on Marine 1 in Seattle.

I work over at Boeing Field, and the C 141 was there all day and quite a sight in comparison to the typical planes serving the planes. The multitude of WN 73Gs just didn't compare. The Primaris 757 was also a wonderful sight. BFI was buzzing with action today.

Air Force One will be at BFI all night as Bush is expected to leave sometime tomorrow morning after he addresses troops at Fort Lewis at 8am. All I know is that BFI will be closed around lunchtime tomorrow in preparation for the departure of AF1.
If you have never designed an airplane part before, let the real designers do the work!

Unless I saw a different a/c parked at Boeing field and flying in and out it was actually a C-5 Galaxy. Big difference between the two

Also as far as the VC-25A it was SAM 29000 but that might be a mute point becuase I am not sure how many of those things there are and what their tail numbers are
