I noticed that Delta has a wide variety of planes flying the ATL
route. Song flies the route once per day, there are two 763 flights, and five CRJ Delta Connection flights, most of which are fairly new. Are the 763 flights strictly for positioning, or is there really that much demand for the flights? It seems that the business travelers prefer LGA
and Delta offers more flights between ATL
. Does anyone know if the 763 flights to JFK
actually go out full? I am sure part of the reason for using the 763s are to feed the European flights out of JFK
, but there aren't too many routes that are served from JFK
that aren't from ATL
Also, does anyone know how the lone Song flight does? Again, I am assuming this is also for positioning more than anything...
There is also a similar situation CVG
. There are two 763s operating the route, and two CRJs.
Are the ATL
763s the internationally configured 763s?
