An L-39 Goes Topless In Merrill Field.

Fri Jun 25, 2004 12:59 pm

A little too early for the incident report to come up but apparently an L-39 on takeoff here in Anchorage lost it's canopy.

Airplane and pilot are safe, apparently somebody caught it on tape, but I don't see a link for video yet.

The jet is up here for the Arctic Thunder Airshow, on Elemedorf this weekend, And list Rich Perkins doing an Aerobatic routine in an L-39 as one of the attractions.

He calls his airplane a "firecat" too, same name the news crew used, so I suspect he is the one that lost his top.

OBAMA-WORST PRESIDENT EVER....Even SKOORB would be better.
