but unfortunately that is still many, many years away. AM
will likely receive only two 772ER's at first and they will both be used in the flights to MAD
). Even as AM
receives more of these birds over the next few years, they will be bound to be used initially in flights to European destinations. Perhaps an extraordinary rotation flight of a 772ER to GRU
might happen during the first weeks, but they will definitely be flown to Europe on a regular basis.
In any case, AM
route is getting a few more frequencies now that more 767ER's are joining the fleet, and that is also great news; I think that the goal is to finish 2004 with one daily MEX
flight using mostly -200's but also -300's.
