Second AirTran 737 To Be Delivered Today

Tue Jun 29, 2004 7:22 pm

N149AT (Ship 301) is scheduled to operate TRS8301 today from BFI to MCO. The flight is blocked at 5h30m with a 1000 PDT departure and a 1830 EDT arrival.

As a side note, Ship 300 (the first 737) is scheduled to operate Flight 7/8 ATL-LAS-ATL today as one of the Ryan Int'l 320's is up in YYZ for an A-Check.

Does anyone know FL's delivery schedule for the rest of the year? Last I heard, they were expecting 8 737s and 6 717s in 2003. This makes 2 of the 737s (don't know if any are coming next month), but I think they have only taken on 1 or 2 717s and I believe those were the ex Hawaiian birds. Too bad they can't get the extra lift in time for the busy season.

I'm not sure but this is about it:

717 - 1 in July, 1 in August and 1 in November. Seven more in 2005.

737 - 2 in June, 2 in August then 1 each September through December. Thirteen more in 2005.
I work for Southwest, but the views expressed are my own and do not necessarily represent those of Southwest.

If you're right on your numbers, looks like after parking the jetconnect rjs, the Miami air 737 and the 4 Ryan jets, this year should be about a wash as far as growth is concerned.

A little update. The flight is operating out of PAE, not BFI. My mistake on that one. Well, the routers mistake but who's counting.
