Trans Meridian always seems to have a 757 parked at AUS
, they must have several flights per day. CO
still has a 757 on a late night arrival/early morning departure and I see AA
757's here occasionally. However, you are correct, there has been a huge increase in the number of RJ
's since 2002. When I first moved here during that year, RJ
's were actually pretty rare at AUS
.....now it seems that every other flight a CRJ, ERJ
, or Avro. This has probably happened everywhere across the country since 911, but I'm guessing that there was a particular need to downsize capacity in AUS
after the tech bubble burst in the early 2000's.

732's southwest only uses them on intra-texas routes and I guess ATL
is just one of the routes delta likes to use the 732 on.
