Air Sahara Launch Third International Route

Air Sahara, the private Indian carrier, will launch service on its third international route on July 22 when it commences daily 737 service between Delhi and Kathmandu in Nepal.

The airline already operates daily service between Colombo in Sri Lanka and the Indian gateways of Chennai and Bangalore using 737s and CRJs.

The timings for the new flight will be :

S2 501/502 (eff. Jul 22)

DEL d 1300
KTM a 1440 d 1540
DEL a 1650

Kathmandu becomes Air Sahara's 24th destination. The airline operates a fleet of 19 aircraft including 12 Boeing 737s and 7 Canadair Regional Jets.

gr8 news! I think they should consider linking VNS and PAT with KTM as well.

VNS and PAT to KTM works out much cheaper and many tourists choose that option rather than take the land route.

One of S2's DEL-VNS and DEL-PAT flights could be made to do a quick turnaround to KTM.
