Only A Few...

Fri Feb 18, 2000 2:14 am

Since dad worked for United, I've been on countless UAL flights and planes, going back to the DC-8. I've also been on:

America West: A320, i think
Morris Air: 737
Hawaiian: DC 10
Business Express: Saab 340, I think...
Air Wisconsin: I completely forget the type of plane

That's it! I'm hoping to hop onto National soon to try them out...

Cheers!

What Airlines Have You Flown On?

All my flights (except connections) start or finish at BCN -international El Prat airport, Barcelona, Catalunya, Spain-. This is what I remember:

Some time about 1976:

IBE Caravelle--Iberia/Caravelle

March 1979:
PMI (Palma de Mallorca, Spain)-BCN
AYC-DC9--Aviaco (Aviación y Comercio, now absorbed by Iberia)

August 1985, round trip:
BCN-LGW (London Gatwick)
BAW 732--British Airways/Boeing 737-200

300 (Airbus 300-B4)x6 (a/c used twice a week in summer via MAD)
600 (Airbus 300-600R) only one way in August '92, brand new. It had only flown ATH-BCN during 1992 Olympic Games

Also:
LH (Deutsche Lufthansa)

Ah!
I forgot my 50-minute flight on a Cessna owned by a private pilots school in SBD (Sabadell, Barcelona, Catalunya, Spain), where I was allowed to take the controls from just after t/o (climbing, flight around Sabadell, Barcelona coast shore, Badalona, Sant Adrià del Besós, Santa Coloma de Gramanet, Cerdanyola, Granollers, Sabadell) until the approach procedures. It was great!!!

Best wishes and turbulences!!!
