I agree that the red and blue can be harder to read, although I think that the point of the masterbrand was really just that. For example, you know when you used to see a billboard with just purple silk on it, it was an advert for Silk Cut. The same thing I think is being attempted with the Red / blue and the smile and the withdrawal of the "Britannia" brand
I know what you mean about them "working" together. I thought the same until I was out in resort. It's mad, but seeing the colours out in the bright Mediterranean sun makes them look fantastic and entirely appropriate. My opinion anyway!
I remember a thread on this and I think that the new branding was actually voted the livery most likely to "scare the cows!" hehehe
