I just flew out of Terminal C at EWR
on COEx last week, and I noticed that CO
had made some changes to the terminal setup at EWR
First, is CO
replacing all of the gate agent desks with the new ones that are in Terminal E at IAH
and C-3 at EWR
? I noticed a few as I was walking down the C-2 concourse. Also, when did they replace each jetway in C-2 with an A and B side for the ERJs? How long have they made C-2 COEx only, with the gate agent desks in the middle of the hallway, servicing about 6 gates each?
I think the new LCD
signs at all the gates look great, and I think that the consolidation of all the COEx ops into one area is a smart idea, but how come none of it was ever publicized?

? It went out of my gate before my flight, and there was no info on the board. Why would CO
bother to have a bus "flight" to ABE
