Why Doesn't AA Have Flight Time Table Booklets?

Fri Feb 18, 2000 12:01 pm

Most airlines, in fact all that I've asked thusfar, have had nice time table booklets, except American. This doesn't seem right. Why wouldn't they print them?

AA decided to print timetable.....after some outpouring complaints....my contact at AA told me...you should call the Customer Relations to find out how to get them..I think she told me AA will give it out on request.

I read in a magazine, months ago, Airways, that in the "Mailbag" (Confirm that), a reader said that an agent for AA told him that AA stopped producing timetables so they can save money, when he asked to have one. There's your explaination.

The Best Place To Get One

I too am holding teh current AA timetable. Its condensed and only lists non-stop and direct flights (no connections).

The best place to get them are at AA City Ticket Offices. I picked this one up at the ticket office in downtowm San Francisco, and have seen them at the other office in the Westin Hotel at Union Square.

you know what... if airlines want to get cheap and not print timtables, etc.... means one thing...
