Adding a bit more to the story, the UA
777 came in last night around 2300 hours for a gas and go. As it taxied out an prepared to turn onto the active, the crew got a number one engine failure. I came into work at about 0515 this morning and the UA
crew was just getting picked up by the hotel shuttle. There are UA
mechanics up here in MKE
right now working on the a/c, and I'd like to thank them for letting me poke around their aircraft for about fifteen minutes.
